NCDR™ Contracted Software Vendors - CathPCI Registry™
View Certification Status for CathPCI Registry™ Contracted Vendors.

The NCDR™ CathPCI Registry™ has contracted with a variety of software vendors that offer a large range of Cath Lab products. The NCDR™ reviews each software application to verify it meets the strict data collection standards and export requirements as defined by the NCDR™. Many of the vendor's software applications do much more than collect and export CathPCI Registry™ data. For this reason, each Participant should consider their own software requirements when reviewing the vendor product information. As an aid and service to our Participants, the ACC has provided a brief description of each vendor as well as a summary of their product information. This information has been supplied by the software vendor and has NOT been verified.

Applications for CathPCI Registry® Vendor Certification On Hold
NCDR is no longer accepting applications for new vendor certification for the CathPCI Registry because of the imminent release of v4.0. If you are interested in becoming a certified software vendor for the new, updated version, please return to this page for more information as we get closer to the release date. Thank you for your interest.

Conceived in the early 1970s by a renowned cardiac physician, and commercialized in 1980, PATS® has endured as both the industry pioneer and frontrunner in outcomes data management technology. It is one of very few applications to have lived through multiple generations of operating systems and programming languages, and proven its capacity to adopt continuous improvement and advancement.

The PATS® open framework allows healthcare organizations to customize the ACC-NCDR® CathPCI Registry with as many additional data fields as they desire. Users may also design, configure and maintain an unlimited number of other separate and discrete registries (such as AMI, cardiac rehabilitation, CHF, coronary thrombosis, electrophysiology, PCI, pacemaker, angioplasty and echocardiography). There are no restrictions, no pre-requisites.

PATS® offers the most robust and sophisticated feature set for mining, analysis and reporting of outcomes data, bar none. In a matter of seconds, with a few simple point-and-click maneuvers, PATS® can process tens of thousands of records, render the results of complex permutations, and produce customized output depicting virtually anything you desire. Data values displayed in tabular format are easily converted, with one click, to graphical format, and may be copied and pasted to a Microsoft Office or other software program for presentation.

In addition to cardiology, PATS® has been adopted enterprise-wide, across nearly every area of specialty. It is also considered a tool of the trade for Quality Management and Performance Improvement departments.
